## Our story (https://zufa.co.uk/our-story)

Zufa’s journey started in Lebanon, in our home town Tannourine, a beautiful village in the mountains of North Lebanon. Our parents opened the family restaurant in 1990 and since then it has been one of the most loved restaurants in North Lebanon. The story continued in London when two brothers pursued their passion for Lebanese food. For years Zufa has offered a mouth-watering selection of Lebanese dishes, all made from scratch using fresh, top-quality ingredients.

Zufa offers a cosy and charming atmosphere for Lebanese food lovers of all ages. The restaurant is fully licensed and has an al fresco patio for outside dining. Guests can dine in, take away or order online. For special events — birthdays, company get-togethers, engagements, baby showers, hen and stag evenings — the restaurant can be booked for up to 60 people seated or 80 standing. It is easily accessible by bus and the London Overground (Hatch End station), there is plenty of local parking and free Wi-Fi.

Signature experiences: home-made saj bread baked on a traditional domed griddle and served on olive-wood boards from Lebanon; hot mezze served sizzling in handmade clay pans; charcoal-grilled meats marinated overnight.

The Bekaa Valley, with its high elevations, abundant sunshine and distinctive soils, is still at its heart. Our list leads with Château Barka, a family-owned estate growing organically between 1,450 and 1,700 metres in the northern Bekaa, whose wines are named after ancient Phoenician goddesses — alongside Château Ksara, Château Belle-Vue and carefully chosen bottles from around the world.

## Catering (https://zufa.co.uk/catering)

Lebanese catering from Zufa in Hatch End: mezze, charcoal grills, saj wraps and desserts cooked from scratch and brought to weddings, birthdays, family gatherings and office lunches across Northwood, Pinner, Ruislip, Harrow, Stanmore, Watford and the surrounding areas.

The same kitchen that feeds the restaurant every night can feed your wedding, your parents’ anniversary or Tuesday’s board lunch. We bring the food, the equipment and thirty-odd years of doing this, and set it out wherever you are.

Areas served: Northwood, Pinner, Ruislip, Harrow, Stanmore, Watford, plus the surrounding parts of North West London and Hertfordshire. Further afield? Ask. We’ve driven further for less.

### Occasions

- **Weddings and engagements:** Lebanese food was made for a wedding. It feeds a room generously and nobody has to choose one dish. Rows of cold mezze to start, hot pastries from the oven, then platters of shish taouk, kafta and lamb cutlets from the charcoal grill, and baklawa with the coffee.
- **Birthdays and family gatherings:** Milestone birthdays, christenings, Eid and Christmas lunches, anniversaries, or simply the whole family under one roof for a Sunday. We size the menu to your numbers and cook it fresh on the day.
- **Office lunches and corporate events:** Board lunches, team days, client meetings, product launches and Christmas parties for offices in Harrow, Watford and along the Metropolitan line. Individual wraps and salad boxes when people are eating at their desks; a full mezze spread when there’s time to sit down.
- **Community and religious celebrations:** Iftar and Eid, christenings and communions, church and temple events, school fundraisers. Tell us what the occasion calls for, from what goes in the food to when it needs to be on the table, and we’ll build around it.

### How it works

1. **Tell us about the day.** The date, a rough head count, where it’s happening and how you’d like people to eat: a long mezze table, plated courses, a grill station, or boxes for a working lunch. If you don’t know yet, say so. Most people don’t at this stage.
2. **We put a menu together.** You get back a menu and a per-head price built around your guests, with vegetarian, vegan and allergy-aware dishes included as a matter of course rather than as an afterthought. Change as much of it as you like.
3. **We cook it, bring it and set it out.** Everything is made in our Hatch End kitchen that day and driven to you with the equipment it needs to arrive looking and tasting as it should. You look after your guests; we look after the table.

### Typical catering menu groups

- **Cold mezze:** Hommos, Moutabbal, Tabbouleh, Fattoush, Rahib, Muhammara, Mixed olives and pickles. Every cold mezze on our menu is vegetarian and most are vegan.
- **Hot mezze and pastries:** Falafel, Cheese rikakat, Spinach fatayer, Lamb sambousek, Kebbeh, Jawaneh, Arayes, Sojok.
- **From the charcoal grill:** Shish taouk, Kafta meshwi, Lahm meshwi, Farrouj meshwi, Lamb cutlets, Vegetarian mixed grill, Lamb shank with lamb rice.
- **Wraps and saj for working lunches:** Chicken, lamb or mixed shawarma wrap, Shish taouk wrap, Falafel wrap, Halloumi wrap, Zaatar and cheese saj. Boxed individually with a salad when people are eating at their desks.
- **Desserts and coffee:** Baklawa, Pistachio baklawa, Knefeh, Osmaliyeh, Mouhallabieh, Gluten-free honey cake, Lebanese coffee.

Pricing: Catering is quoted per head. The figure depends on your numbers, the dishes you pick and how far we’re travelling, so ask and we’ll come back with a figure rather than a range.

### Catering FAQs

**Q: Which areas does Zufa cater?**

A: We cater across Northwood, Pinner, Ruislip, Harrow, Stanmore and Watford, as well as the surrounding areas of North West London and Hertfordshire. If you’re further out, ask; it’s usually possible.

**Q: What events can Zufa cater for?**

A: Weddings and engagements, birthdays, christenings, Eid and Christmas gatherings, board lunches, working meetings, product launches and office parties. We bring the food and the equipment and set it out where you are.

**Q: Can the catering menu be tailored?**

A: Yes, and it usually is. Tell us your guest numbers, dietary requirements and budget and we’ll put together a mezze and grill selection to suit, then change it with you until it’s right.

**Q: Do you cater for vegetarian, vegan and allergy requirements?**

A: Every day. All of our cold mezze are vegetarian and most are vegan (hommos, moutabbal, tabbouleh, fattoush, rahib, muhammara), as are falafel and spinach fatayer. We list the allergens for every dish and can build a menu around nut, gluten, dairy or sesame allergies.

**Q: How is catering priced?**

A: Per head. The figure depends on your numbers, the dishes you choose and where we’re bringing it. Send us the basics and you’ll get a proper quote back, not a range.

**Q: How much notice do you need?**

A: As much as you can give us, particularly for weekends, wedding season and December. Smaller working lunches can often be arranged with a few days’ notice. Call us and we’ll tell you straight away whether the date works.

**Q: Could we hold the event at the restaurant instead?**

A: Yes. Zufa can be hired privately for up to 60 guests seated or 80 standing, with a licensed bar and patio. See our private hire page.

## Private hire (https://zufa.co.uk/private-hire)

Hire Zufa in Hatch End for birthdays, engagements, baby showers, hen and stag nights and company parties: up to 60 guests seated or 80 standing, a licensed bar with Lebanese wines and cocktails, and an al fresco patio.

On the nights you take over the restaurant, it’s yours: the dining room, the patio, the bar and the kitchen behind it. Up to 60 people sit down to a proper Lebanese spread, or 80 stand with a glass of Ksara and a plate of mezze. Hatch End Overground is a short walk and there’s parking on the street.

### What comes with the room

- Fully licensed bar: Lebanese wines, arak, Lebanese beer and house cocktails
- Al fresco patio for summer parties and a breath of air between courses
- Sharing platters from £55.75 for two, or à la carte for smaller parties
- Vegetarian, vegan and allergen information on every dish
- Kids menu for family celebrations
- Free Wi-Fi and space for a speech, a cake and a playlist
- Hatch End Overground and buses on the doorstep; plenty of local parking

### Occasions

- **Birthdays:** Eighteenths to eightieths. One long table for thirty, or the whole room for sixty with the grill working all night. Bring the cake; we’ll bring it out with the coffee.
- **Engagements and anniversaries:** Two families meeting over a shared table is the most Lebanese thing there is. Mezze does the introductions while the grill gets going.
- **Hen and stag nights:** Cocktails from the bar, sharing platters that keep coming, and the whole restaurant to yourselves for the night.
- **Baby showers and christenings:** Daytime hire with the patio doors open, mocktails alongside the wine, and a menu that suits grandparents and toddlers alike.
- **Company get-togethers:** Team dinners, client evenings and the Christmas party for offices around Harrow, Pinner and Watford. Sharing platters keep the bill predictable; the room keeps everyone talking.
- **Eid, Christmas and family feasts:** Big family celebrations where the table needs to be long, the food needs to keep coming and nobody wants to do the washing up.

### How a private event works

1. **Pick a date and tell us your numbers.** Evenings and weekends go first, especially in December, so the earlier you call the more choice you have. We’ll tell you straight away whether the date works.
2. **Choose how the table eats.** For most parties a sharing platter is the easiest: Vegetarian, Levantine or Lebanese Feast Grill, for two or four. Mix platters for a bigger table, or order à la carte.
3. **Sort the drinks and the extras.** Wines from Château Barka, Ksara and Belle-Vue, arak, Lebanese beer, our own cocktails and mocktails for anyone driving. Bring a playlist, or a cake we can plate with the coffee.

Enquiries: https://zufa.co.uk/private-hire#enquire, 0208 421 6821 or WhatsApp 07719 328 552.
